💚VIDEO SHOWCASE💚

Greetings creators large, small, and everything in between!

For the first time ever, we’re taking the Video Showcase out of cyberspace and into the real world! We’ve reserved a sizable physical gallery space at our next in-person SizeCon event, and our goal is to fill it floor to ceiling with the incredible work being made by the many creators in our community.

This call for entries is open to all creators making video content in the size community—whether you’re making work featuring giants, tiny folk, expansion, inflation, weight-gain, or some other sizey concept not mentioned here, safe for work or not safe for work, this show is open to you. Likewise, we’re open to all types of video, from live action, traditional animation, 3D animation, stop motion, and beyond. If you’re doing something cool that we haven’t considered, please reach out!

Because this is a physical, in-person event, naturally, things are a bit different from the online-only shows we’ve done previously. Below are all of the important details about both submitting your work and how the gallery space will function. Please read everything carefully and thoroughly.

Eligibility Criteria

  • This opportunity is open to all video creators 18 years of age and older creating work within the size community, including, but not limited to, work featuring giants, tiny folk, extreme size, muscles and muscle growth, expansion, inflation, weight-gain, or other concepts relating to size.

  • Both safe for work and not safe for work video may be submitted. Any work depicting persons or characters under 18 years of age will be rejected immediately.

  • All kinds of video are eligible, including, but not limited to, live action, 2D animation, 3D animation, stop motion, etc.

  • All work must be original and made by the video creator. Likewise, the intellectual property depicted in the work (characters, settings, symbols, designs, etc.) must either belong to the video creator or be within the public domain. Content featuring characters from well-known, corporately-owned properties not belonging to the video creator will be rejected immediately. Content made through the use of AI will be rejected immediately.

  • Consent is essential: edits to videos pulled from Instagram/TikTok/other social media are not permitted. Any live action footage must have been shot by the video creator and with the consent of all actors/actresses involved. Likewise, any and all audio must belong to the video creator: for example, creating an animation with audio pulled from Instagram/TikTok/other social media is not permitted.

  • Creators do not need to be an exhibitor or attendee at the upcoming in-person SizeCon (February 28th through March 2nd, 2025) to be eligible for inclusion. Being an exhibitor or attendee has no impact on the selection process. There is no cost to submit your work, and no purchase is necessary to be selected. Anyone from anywhere in the world that meets the above eligibility criteria is welcome and encouraged to submit their work.

Regarding Accepted Works

  • This is not a business relationship: SizeCon is not selling your work on your behalf, and no transactions, monetary or otherwise, take place within the Video Showcase in any shape or form. Attendees who visit the gallery are free to purchase any available work or merchandise from individual creators directly, both in-person and online through the creators’ own platforms.

  • All rights to each work remain with each respective creator, and SizeCon claims no ownership over the works or intellectual property featured in the show. Your work remains yours!

  • Accepted videos will be played on a continuous loop within the gallery space. Headphones will be available for attendees to listen to any audio.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions will be accepted until midnight, February 14th, 2025. As long as it’s February 14th somewhere on Earth, submissions are open!

  • Video creators may submit up to two (2) videos with a combined total runtime of six (6) minutes. These videos must be accessible via a link from Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive. Links to adult video websites are not accepted. Video files attached directly to the email submission are not accepted.

  • SizeCon must be able to download accepted videos in order to set them up for playback within the gallery space. Pleasure ensure that permissions are set accordingly to allow this.

  • Videos must have an opening title with the creator’s name, username, or handle, the title of the video, and any links the creator wishes to point attendees to. This can be as simple as a black screen with white text. Because the videos will be playing on a loop, this opening title will help attendees to be able to identify the work that they’re about to watch.

  • Creators must include the name, username, handle, or pseudonym that they would like to have printed on signage for the show. Please double check that this is spelled correctly, capitalized, and punctuated as intended. With the wide variety of naming conventions online, it may not be clear to staff that “lilbugguy” was intended to be printed as “Lil’ Bug Guy,” for example.

  • Creators must include at least one link to either a personal website or an online social media presence (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, DeviantArt, Tumblr, BlueSky, Threads, etc.) in order to verify authorship of the work. Creators’ links will be printed on signage in the gallery so that attendees can follow the creators outside of the convention.

  • Submissions must be sent to production@sizecon.com

The subject line must be in the following format:

“<Your name, username, or handle> 2025 Video Showcase Submission”

Example: “CuriouslyShortCinephile 2025 Video Showcase Submission”

Creators do not have to include their real names if they do not wish to.
